Roxana Maracineanu
Roxana Mărăcineanu is a Romanian-born French politician, former swimming champion and television consultant serving as Minister Delegate in charge of Sports in the government of Prime Minister Jean Castex since 2020. She previously served as Minister of Sports under Édouard Philippe from 2018 to 2020, when she became a junior minister under Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer.
Chad le Clos
Chad Guy Bertrand le Clos, OIS is a South African competitive swimmer who is an Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games champion as well as the Commonwealth record holder in the 50 and 100-metre butterfly. He won gold in the 200-metre butterfly and silver in the 100-metre butterfly in the 2012 Olympics in London, as well as silver medals in the 200-metre freestyle and 100-metre butterfly in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won five medals at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. Le Clos has won the Overall Swimming World Cup four times: 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2017. In 2018, Le Clos claimed three gold medals in the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly events at the Commonwealth Games. He also placed second in the 100m freestyle and third, along with teammates Cameron van der Burgh, Calvyn Justus and Brad Tandy, in the 4x100 medley relay. With another win in the 200m butterfly, Le Clos made history by becoming the first man to win three consecutive 200m butterfly Commonwealth titles.
Manon Aubry
Manon Aubry is a French politician representing la France Insoumise. A former Oxfam France spokeswoman, she won a seat in the 2019 European Parliament election and is co-chair of the European United Left–Nordic Green Left parliamentary grouping (GUE/NGL) with Martin Schirdewan since 2019.
Rebecca Adlington
Rebecca Adlington is a British former competitive swimmer who specialised in freestyle events in international competition. She won two gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 400-metre freestyle and 800-metre freestyle, breaking the 19-year-old world record of Janet Evans in the 800-metre final. Adlington was Britain's first Olympic swimming champion since 1988, and the first British swimmer to win two Olympic gold medals since 1908. After winning her first World Championship gold over 800 metres in 2011, along with silver in the 400 metres at the same meet, she won bronze medals in both the women's 400-metre and 800-metre freestyle events in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Mark Foster
Mark Andrew Foster is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics and world championships, and swam for England in the Commonwealth Games. Foster is a former world champion and won multiple medals in international competition during his long career. He competed primarily in butterfly and freestyle at 50 metres.
Yuliya Yefimova
Yuliya Andreyevna Yefimova is a Russian competitive swimmer. After making her Olympic debut in 2008, she went on to win the bronze medal in the 200 metres breaststroke in 2012, and silver medals in the 100 metres and 200 metres breaststroke in 2016. She is a six-time World Champion, winning the 50 metres breaststroke, the 100 metres breaststroke (2015), and the 200 metres breaststroke. She is also a former world record holder in the 50 metres breaststroke.
Camille Lacourt
Camille Lacourt is a retired French competitive swimmer and backstroke specialist. He won the 50 metre backstroke at three consecutive world championships. He competed at the 2012 Olympics in the 100 metre backstroke and finished fourth. In the 2016 Rio Olympics, he finished fifth in the same event.
Cate Campbell
Cate Natalie Campbell, is a Malawian-born Australian competitive swimmer, and a current multiple world record holder, who won two bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics and a gold and a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the current world record holder in the Long Course 4 x 100 m Freestyle Relay with Team Australia and the short course 100 m freestyle.
Katinka Hosszú
Katinka Hosszú is a Hungarian competitive swimmer specialized in individual medley events. She is a three-time Olympic champion and a nine-time long-course world champion. She is owner of a Budapest based swim school and swim club called Iron Swim Budapest, and co-owner and captain of Team Iron, founding member of the International Swimming League.
