Marc-Antoine Olivier is a French competitive swimmer who specialises in long-distance open water events.

Thomas Rupprath is an Olympic swimmer from Germany, who is nicknamed "The New Albatross".

Vladimir Valeryevich Salnikov is a Russian former freestyle swimmer who competed for the Soviet Union and set 12 world records in the 400, 800 and 1,500 meter events. Nicknamed the "Tsar of the Pool" but also the "Monster of the Waves" or simply the "Leningrad Express", he was the first person to swim under fifteen minutes in the 1500 m freestyle and also the first person to swim under eight minutes in the 800 m freestyle. He was named the Male World Swimmer of the Year in 1982 by Swimming World.

Nikita Konstantinovich Lobintsev is a Russian freestyle swimmer, who won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics. At that Olympics, he also competed in the 400 m freestyle, finishing in 8th, and the 1500 m freestyle, finishing in 31st.

Junya Koga is a Japanese backstroke swimmer. He is a Waseda University student in Tokyo.

Jeanne Boutbien is a French-Senegalese swimmer. She competed in the women's 100 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships.

Thomas Lurz is a German swimmer who specializes in long-distance freestyle swimming, especially open water swimming. Lurz lives in Gerbrunn and swims for the SV Würzburg 05 sports club.

Jiro Miki is a Japanese former swimmer, who specialized in individual medley events. He is a two-time Olympian, a double Olympic finalist in both 200 and 400 m individual medley, and a silver medalist at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.

Claire Supiot is a French swimmer. She competed in the women's 200 metre butterfly at the 1988 Summer Olympics and won silver medal in the 400 m freestyle event at the 1987 Mediterranean Games.
