Julius "Izzy" Yablok was an American football back who played two seasons in the National Football League with the Brooklyn Dodgers and Staten Island Stapletons. He played college football at Colgate University and attended Boys High School in Brooklyn, New York.

Şenol Güneş, T.C., is a Turkish football manager and former player. His most notable managerial achievements to date include coaching the Turkish national team to third place in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and winning two Süper Lig titles; both of them with Beşiktaş. He is also noted for stints in his boyhood club Trabzonspor, which plays their current games in a stadium named after him. His playing career there saw the club win all 6 of their Süper Lig titles.

Amancio Amaro Varela,, commonly known simply as Amancio, is a Spanish former football player. Nicknamed El Brujo he played outside right for Deportivo de La Coruña, Real Madrid, and the Spain national team.

Nicholas Paul Punto is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Oakland Athletics. With the Cardinals, he won the 2011 World Series over the Texas Rangers. He has also played for the Italian national baseball team in the World Baseball Classic.

Colin Bell was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Bell known for his thirteen-year spell at Manchester City, he is regarded as one of the club's greatest-ever players, and was part of the Bell–Lee–Summerbee trio in the late 1960s and 1970s. Bell made forty-eight appearances for the England national football team; he was an unused squad member at UEFA Euro 1968 and played in three matches at the 1970 FIFA World Cup.

Alice Ruth Bolton, known as Ruthie Bolton, is an American former professional women's basketball player. Born in Lucedale, Mississippi, she played at the collegiate, Olympic and professional levels of women's basketball. Bolton played in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1997 through 2004 with the Sacramento Monarchs. She played collegiately at Auburn University, teaming with her older sister, Mae Ola Bolton. She was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011. Bolton has also served as a first lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves as a transportation officer.
