Fabrice Alcebiades Maieco, commonly known as Akwá, is an Angolan former football player who played as a forward for the Angolan national team. From his international debut in 1995, Akwá represented Angola 78 times, scoring a record 39 goals. He played for them in three Africa Cup of Nations and captained the side at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Akwá has a brother, Rasca, who was a professional football player for Atlético Sport Aviação in Angola.

Gisela Dulko is a retired Argentine tennis player. Although she enjoyed modest success in singles, reaching a career-high ranking of world No. 26 and winning four WTA titles, her speciality was doubles, where she achieved the world No. 1 ranking and won 17 WTA titles. Partnering with Flavia Pennetta, Dulko won the 2010 WTA Tour Championships and the 2011 Australian Open. She also reached the mixed-doubles final at the 2011 US Open, with Edward Schwank. During her career, Dulko upset a number of top players on the tour, including Maria Sharapova in the second round of Wimbledon in 2009, Samantha Stosur in the third round of Roland Garros in 2011, and Martina Navratilova in the second round of Wimbledon in 2004 and in Navratilova's final Grand Slam singles match.

Cara Black is a former professional tennis player from Zimbabwe who played until 2015. She is primarily a doubles specialist, winning 60 WTA and 11 ITF titles in that discipline. A former No. 1 ranked women's doubles player in the WTA Rankings, she has won ten Grand Slam titles in women's doubles and mixed doubles combined. By winning the mixed doubles title at the 2010 Australian Open, Black became the third woman in the Open Era to complete a Career Grand Slam in mixed doubles. Having won one singles title on tour, she also peaked at no. 31 in the singles rankings in March 1999.
