He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, where he surpassed Brett Favre's single-season record for passing yardage (4,476) and touchdown passes (38).

Ndamukong Ngwa Suh is an American football defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Nebraska, where he earned All-American honors, and was drafted by the Detroit Lions second overall in the 2010 NFL Draft.

He primarily plays as a winger, preferably on the left side, and is known for his pace, energy, skill, and precise passing. While with Bayern, he was recognised on the world stage as one of the best players of his generation. The previous talisman of the French national team, Zinedine Zidane, once referred to Ribéry as the "jewel of French football".

Carl Weathers is an American actor and former professional American football player. Several of his best known roles are Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films, George Dillon in Predator, Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore and in Little Nicky, Detective Adam Beaudreaux in television series Street Justice, a fictionalized version of himself on the comedy series Arrested Development, and a recurring role as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

Following a successful college football career at University of Kentucky, he played in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the New York Giants, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2004. At 285 lb, Lorenzen was heaviest quarterback to play in the NFL. He was nicknamed Hefty Lefty because of his weight and being left-handed.

Herschel Walker is an American former professional football player, bobsledder, sprinter and mixed martial artist. He played college football for the University of Georgia, earned consensus All-American honors three times and won the 1982 Heisman Trophy. He is widely considered one of the greatest college football players of all time, ranked No. 1 by Bleacher Report and Sporting News, and No. 2 by ESPN. Walker began his professional football career with the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL), before joining the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). In the NFL, he also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants. In 1989, Walker's name became synonymous with the largest trade in league history. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
