Brandon Leray Rush is an American professional basketball player for Larisa of the Greek Basket League. He was drafted in the first round of the 2008 NBA draft by the Portland Trail Blazers, before being traded to the Indiana Pacers on draft day, after playing for Kansas for three seasons, including the 2008 championship season. He was selected as a Wooden Award All-American in both 2007 and 2008 as a Jayhawk. Rush has also played for the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz, and Minnesota Timberwolves, winning an NBA championship with the Warriors in 2015.

Tyler Patmon is an American football cornerback who is currently a free agent. He first enrolled at the University of Kansas before transferring to Oklahoma State University and signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Miami Dolphins.

Thomas "Pepper" Johnson is an American football coach and former linebacker who played in the National Football League for 13 seasons, the first seven of which were for the New York Giants. He won two Super Bowls with the Giants before playing for the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and New York Jets.

Malik Hooker is an American football safety for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State and was drafted by the Colts with the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. While at Ohio State, Hooker was named a First Team All-American and won the 2015 CFP national championship.
