Yorinaga Nakamura , also known as Yori Nakamura, is a retired Japanese shoot wrestler and an instructor in shoot wrestling, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino martial arts, silat, and Muay Thai.

Bahaa Araji is an Iraqi politician, who was a member of the Iraqi National Assembly until 2014. He served as Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs from September 2014 to August 2015. He is a spokesman for the United Iraqi Alliance and a member of the Sadrist Movement which is led by Muqtada as-Sadr. He was succeeded as the head of the Ahrar bloc in parliament by Dia al-Asadi.

Yahya Yakhlif is a Palestinian writer and a novelist. He was born in Samakh, a Palestinian village that was abandoned during the 1948 Palestinian exodus, four years after Yakhlif's birth. Consequently, Yakhlif and his family became displaced refugees.
