Uwe Schuenemann is a German politician and interior minister of the German state of the federation Lower Saxony. In the course of his office, he is known for relatively hard-line stances.

Uwe Raab is a German former professional cyclist born in Wittenberg, Germany. He is most known for winning the Points classification in the 1990 and 1991 Vuelta a Españas. He also competed in the road race at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Uwe Unterwalder is a retired East German track cyclist. He had his best achievements in the 4000 m individual and team pursuit. In these disciplines he won two silver medal at the 1972 and 1980 Summer Olympics, as well as six medals at the world championships in 1971–1978; his team finished in fourth place at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Uwe Kagelmann is a German former competitive pair skater. Competing with Manuela Groß, he was twice bronze medalist at the Olympics. He later became a figure skating coach.
