Tsuneo Watanabe is a Japanese journalist and businessman. He is the Representative Director, Editor-in-Chief of the Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings company, which publishes the largest Japanese daily newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun and substantially controls the largest Japanese commercial television network Nippon Television Network. He has served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Yomiuri Shimbun since 1985.

Tsuneo Horiuchi is a former professional baseball player in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball, and a politician. A right-handed pitcher, in 2008 he was voted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.

Tsuneo Suzuki is a Japanese politician serving his sixth term in the House of Representatives in the Diet as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. A native of Yokohama, Kanagawa and graduate of Waseda University, he was elected for the first time in 1986 after an unsuccessful run in 1983, both as a member of the now-defunct party New Liberal Club.

Tsuneo Niijima is a Japanese farmer and amateur astronomer.
