Oscar Denis Sánchez is a Paraguayan politician and former Vice President. He was elected in June 2012. Upon his election he was Senator in the Senate of Paraguay.

Óscar Freire Gómez is a former Spanish professional road bicycle racer. He was one of the top sprinters in road bicycle racing, having won the world championship three times, equalling Alfredo Binda, Rik Van Steenbergen, Eddy Merckx and Peter Sagan. In the later years of his career, he became more of a classics rider. He has won the cycling monument Milan–San Remo three times, four stages in the Tour de France and seven stages of the Vuelta a España, throughout a successful career.

Óscar Raúl Ugarte Ubilluz is a Peruvian physician who is the current Minister of Health under President Francisco Sagasti since 13 February 2021. He previously held the position under President Alan García from October 2008 to July 2011.

Óscar Arias Sánchez is a Costa Rican activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. He was President of Costa Rica from 1986 to 1990 and from 2006 to 2010. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987 for his efforts to end the Central American crisis. He was also a recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism and a trustee of Economists for Peace and Security. In 2003, he was elected to the board of directors of the International Criminal Court's Trust Fund for Victims.

Oscar Luis Colas Leon is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher and outfielder who is currently a free agent. He was dispatched to the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in 2017. In December 2020, Colas became a free agent able to be signed by all 30 Major League Baseball clubs.
