Liu Xi, better known by his courtesy name Liu Zhong, was an elder brother of Emperor Gaozu, founder of China's Han dynasty. He served as marquess of Hexin, king or prince of Dai, and marquess of Heyang.

Liu Yan, né Liu Yan (劉巖), also known as Liu Zhi (劉陟) and briefly as Liu Gong (劉龔), formally Tianhuang Dadi (天皇大帝) with the temple name Gaozu (高祖), was the first emperor of the Chinese Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period state Southern Han.

He is particularly well known for his bibliographic work in cataloging and editing the extensive imperial library.

Liu Feng was an adopted son of Liu Bei, a warlord who lived in the late Eastern Han dynasty and founded the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period of China. He traced his lineage to a certain marquis whose family name was "Kou" (寇). He was also related to the House of Liu – the imperial clan of the Han dynasty from which Liu Bei descended – albeit not directly. He served as a general in his adoptive father's military forces.

Liu Fu-hao born 14 November 1978, is a Taiwanese baseball player who currently plays for Uni-President Lions of Chinese Professional Baseball League. Originally a third baseman, he currently plays as center fielder for the Lions, although he is capable of playing other outfield positions as well as first base.
