List of Famous people named Kani

Kani Kusruti is an Indian actress and model. She first gained recognition in 2009 with the film Kerala Cafe, where her performance was critically acclaimed. Kani won the Best Actress at Kerala State Film Awards in 2020 & the BRICS Best Actress Award at the Moscow International Film Festival for her performance of Khadeeja in the film Biriyaani.

Kani Saizō , also known as Kani Yoshinaga (可児吉長), was a Japanese samurai of the late Sengoku era through early Edo era, who served various lords before coming into the service of the Tokugawa clan. Saizō was originally a junior retainer under the Saitō clan, then switched to the Oda clan. Still later, he served under the Tokugawa. In the early Edo era, Saizō joined Fukushima Masanori during the latter's move to the Hiroshima Domain, and died in 1613.

Kâni Karaca, born in Adana, Turkey, was a Turkish singer. He lost his eyesight at the age of 2 and memorized the Quran in elementary school. He came to Istanbul in 1950. He worked with Sadettin Heper, and learned religious and nonreligious music from him.
