John Amery
John Amery was a pro-Nazi British fascist. In 1942, while in Germany during the Second World War, he proposed the formation of a British volunteer force made up from former prisoners of war as part of the German military. The idea became the British Free Corps, a small unit of the Waffen-SS.

John Joseph Madigan was an Australian blacksmith and politician. He served as a Senator for Victoria from 2011 to 2016. He resigned from the DLP to become an independent in September 2014, and later launched "John Madigan's Manufacturing and Farming Party" in 2015.

John Patrick Schmitz is an American attorney and political advisor who served as Deputy White House Counsel to President George H.W. Bush (1989–1993), and Deputy Counsel to Vice President Bush during the Reagan Administration (1987–1989). Schmitz clerked for Antonin Scalia at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia (1983–1984). Fluent in German, Schmitz has worked extensively on German-American issues both in government, and since 1993, in private practice in Washington, D.C. and Berlin.
John Smeaton
John Smeaton, also known by the nickname Smeato, is a former baggage handler at Glasgow Airport. He became involved in thwarting the 2007 Glasgow Airport attack. Smeaton lives in Erskine, Renfrewshire, a town outside the city and near the airport. Brought up in Erskine, he was educated at Park Mains High School. Smeaton stood as an Independent candidate in the 2009 Glasgow North East by-election.
