Jacques Fouroux was a French rugby union player and coach. He captained France when they won the Grand Slam in 1977, and was the manager when the side repeated the feat in 1981 and 1987.

Jacques Léonard is a Canadian accountant, educator, and politician in the province of Quebec. He served in the National Assembly of Quebec from 1976 to 1985 and again from 1989 to 2001 and was a cabinet minister in the governments of René Lévesque, Jacques Parizeau, and Lucien Bouchard. Léonard is a Quebec sovereigntist and a member of the Parti Québécois (PQ) and Bloc Québécois (BQ).

Jacques Drillon was a French journalist and writer. He studied literature and cinema in Nancy and Metz and earned a doctorate in linguistics in 1993 with the thesis La loi formelle et son influence sur la création artistique et littéraire. From 1997 to 1999, he taught linguistics at Cergy-Pontoise University, stylistics at Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis, and gave conferences at the École Polytechnique.

Jacques Mahéas is a former member of the Senate of France, who represented the Seine-Saint-Denis département. He is a member of the Socialist Party.
