He is best known as the founding drummer of the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, and as a former member of Pearl Jam, with whom he recorded two studio albums. He also played on the last song from Vitalogy, "Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me".

John Elmer "Jack" Carson was a Canadian-born, American film actor. Though he was primarily used in supporting roles for comic relief, his work in films such as Mildred Pierce (1945) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) displayed his mastery of "straight" dramatic actor roles as well. He worked for RKO and MGM, but most of his memorable work was for Warner Bros. His trademark character was the wisecracking know-it-all, typically and inevitably undone by his own smug cockiness.

John Arthur Palladino was an American private investigator and attorney. In 1977 he founded the private detective agency Palladino & Sutherland with his wife, Sandra Sutherland, and over a career spanning more than four decades, Palladino specialized in the preparation for trial of witnesses and evidence in litigation. He was best known for his work in the Peoples Temple tragedy, his defense of car maker John DeLorean, for the Bill Clinton presidential election committee, the tobacco industry whistleblower Jeffrey Wigand, singer Courtney Love, and musician R. Kelly.

Jack Peter Miller is an Australian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, best known for being the championship runner-up in the 2014 Moto3 World Championship. Miller won the 2016 Dutch TT on a privateer Honda. In 2020 he signed a factory contract at Ducati for 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Jack D. McVitie, more commonly known as Jack the Hat, was an English criminal from London during the 1950s and 1960s. He is posthumously known for triggering the imprisonment and downfall of the Kray twins. He had acted as an enforcer and hitman with links to the Krays' gang, The Firm, and was murdered by Reggie Kray in 1967.
