Hisashi Owada is a former Japanese jurist, diplomat and law professor, and served as a judge on the International Court of Justice from 2003 until June 7, 2018, and was President of the Court from 2009 to 2012. He is the father-in-law of the incumbent Emperor of Japan, Naruhito.
Hisashi Iwakuma
Hisashi Iwakuma is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher. He has played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes from 2000 to 2004, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles from 2005 to 2011, and Yomiuri Giants in 2019, and in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners from 2012 to 2017. Iwakuma retired in 2020 due to lingering shoulder issues that had prevented him from playing that year.

Hisashi Eguchi is a Japanese manga artist and one of Japan's most prominent illustrators of female characters. He made his professional manga debut with Susume!! Pirates in the manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1977. Other notable works include Stop!! Hibari-kun!, and the gag series Charamono. Eguchi married idol Mari Mizutani (ja:水谷麻里) in 1990.

Hisashi Mizutori , is a Japanese gymnast. He was part of the Japanese team that won the gold medal in the team competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He was also part of the team to win the silver medal in the team event at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. At that competition, he also won three individual bronze medals, winning them in the all-around, the floor exercise, and the horizontal bar. He is currently a professor at Keio University, Shonan Fujisawa Campus.
