Helmut Förnbacher is a Swiss actor, film director and screenwriter. He has appeared in 72 films and television shows since 1959. He starred in the 1976 film The Sudden Loneliness of Konrad Steiner, which was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival.

Helmut Weiss was a German actor, screenwriter, and film director. He was notable for directing Tell the Truth the first film produced in what was to become the future West Germany after the Second World War. It was made in Hamburg in the British Zone of Occupation. Much of the film had already been made at the UFA studios in Berlin shortly before the arrival of the Red Army, but Weiss dramatically re-shot it. The film was significant in its use of outdoor locations in common with other post-war rubble films.

Helmut Lamp is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and former member of the German Bundestag.

Helmut Kuhnert is a retired East German speed skater. He competed at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Winter Olympics in eight events in total. His best achievements were ninth place in 5000 m in 1956 and in 1500 m in 1960. He won a bronze all-around medal at the 1960 World Championships.
