Gerard Noel
Admiral of the Fleet Sir Gerard Henry Uctred Noel, was a Royal Navy officer. As a junior officer he commanded a naval brigade which took part in the capture of Kumasi in February 1874 during the Second Anglo-Ashanti War.

Gérard Deltell
Gérard Deltell is a Canadian politician from Quebec currently serving as Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons. Deltell was the final leader of the Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) from 2009 to the merger of the party with the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) in 2012. He was the member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Chauveau. He was the house leader of the CAQ in the National Assembly until the provincial election in April 2014 and has served as a federal MP for Louis-Saint-Laurent since October 2015.
