Hans-Georg "Katsche" Schwarzenbeck is a retired German football player who played as a defender. He played in the Bundesliga from 1966 to 1981, appearing in 416 matches as a defender for Bayern Munich. He won six German league championships, three German Cups, one European Cup Winners' Cup, and three consecutive European Cups.

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg was a German physicist, satirist, and Anglophile. As a scientist, he was the first to hold a professorship explicitly dedicated to experimental physics in Germany. He is remembered for his posthumously published notebooks, which he himself called Sudelbücher, a description modelled on the English bookkeeping term "scrapbooks", and for his discovery of tree-like electrical discharge patterns now called Lichtenberg figures.

Georg Nolte is a German jurist and Judge-Elect of the International Court of Justice. He is professor of public international law at the Humboldt University of Berlin and has been a member of the UN's International Law Commission since 2007, serving as its chairman in 2017. In November 2020 he was elected Judge of the International Court of Justice by the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council, and he takes office on 6 February 2021.
