Eduard Friedrich Mörike was a German Lutheran pastor who was also a Romantic poet and writer of novellas and novels. Many of his poems were set to music and became established folk songs, while others were used by composers Hugo Wolf and Ignaz Lachner in their symphonic works.

Eduard Azaryan is a former Soviet Armenian artistic gymnast. He is an Olympic Champion and four-time Soviet Champion. Azaryan was awarded the Honoured Master of Sport of the USSR title in 1980. He is the son of Albert Azaryan.

He was all-round national champion in 1964–1966 and 1966 and won five individual titles in 1963–1966.

Eduard Ergartovich Rossel is a Russian politician, who was the governor (1995–2009) of Sverdlovsk Oblast, an oblast in Russia. He was born in 1937 and is of German origin. He returned into office in 1995. He is a member of the Federation Council of Russia.
