He represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and finished in 10th place. Brian is the younger brother of the late musician Bap Kennedy.

Brian Glen Banks, is an American former professional baseball player. Banks from Mountain View High School who played first base, outfield, and catcher from 1993-2004. He played for the Florida Marlins and Milwaukee Brewers of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Banks was a part of the 2003 World Series Champion Florida Marlins. He retired from professional baseball on August 20, 2004.
