Attila Szekrényessy was a Hungarian pair skater who competed with his sister Piroska Szekrényessy. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and died in Gyöngyös. He and his sister were six-time gold medalists at the Hungarian Figure Skating Championships. The pair finished fourth at the 1936 Winter Olympics and won the bronze medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1936 and 1937.

Attila Chikán is a Hungarian economist, university professor, Full Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Foreign Member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. His research areas are national and firm competitiveness, business policy, and logistics. He is Founding Principal of Rajk László College for Advanced Studies. Minister of Economic Affairs in 1998-99, Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest. Currently he is Professor Emeritus and Director, Competitiveness Research Center of CUB.

Dr. Attila Tilki is a Hungarian jurist and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Fehérgyarmat from 2006 to 2014, and for Vásárosnamény since 2014. He served as mayor of Fehérgyarmat between 2006 and 2014.

Attila Kovács is a former Hungarian sprinter. He is an 11-time Hungarian 100 metre champion, and a 4-time 200 metre champion.

Attila Sávolt is a tennis player from Hungary, who represented his native country at the 2000 Sydney Olympics where he lost to Paradorn Srichaphan in his first match. Starting his professional career in 1995, he peaked the ATP-ranking on May 20, 2002, reaching 68 on the world rankings. Surprisingly he has a 1-0 head to head against Tim Henman after beating the 4th seed 11th ranked in the 2003 Dubai Tennis Championships. He also defeated Jiří Novák in their only ATP Tour match-up at the 2002 Orange Warsaw Open, when the Czech was ranked 5th in the world. He participated in the 2004 Hopman Cup alongside Petra Mandula. He won the Hungarian Championships two times. He is currently coaching Márton Fucsovics and a sports commentary on Sport 1.

Attila Miklósházy S.J. was a Hungarian-born Canadian member of the Society of Jesus, and Bishop of the Hungarian Emigrants from 1989 to 2006.
