Arne Beurling
Arne Carl-August Beurling was a Swedish mathematician and professor of mathematics at Uppsala University (1937–1954) and later at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. Beurling worked extensively in harmonic analysis, complex analysis and potential theory. The "Beurling factorization" helped mathematical scientists to understand the Wold decomposition, and inspired further work on the invariant subspaces of linear operators and operator algebras, e.g. Håkan Hedenmalm's factorization theorem for Bergman spaces.
Arne Tiselius
Arne Wilhelm Kaurin Tiselius was a Swedish biochemist who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1948 "for his research on electrophoresis and adsorption analysis, especially for his discoveries concerning the complex nature of the serum proteins."

Arne Skauge is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party, who served as parliamentary representative for Hordaland from 1977 to 1993. He was also Minister of Trade and Shipping 1981-1983, state secretary to the Prime Minister 1984–1986, and Minister of Finance in 1986 and 1989–1990.

Arne Fjellbu was a Norwegian bishop. During World War II, he played a central role in the Church's resistance against the Nazi authorities. He was bishop of the Diocese of Nidaros from 1945 to 1960.
Arne Oldberg
Arne Oldberg was an American pianist, composer, and teacher. He spent his career on the faculty of Northwestern University (1897–1941), where he taught piano and composition and, from 1924 until his retirement in 1941, served as director of the graduate department of the Music School. Among his students were composers Howard Hanson, Cecilia Clare Bocard, and Ella May Walker.
