Ajit Kumar Doval
Ajit Kumar Doval, KC is the fifth and current National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of India. He previously served as the Director of the Intelligence Bureau in 2004–05, after spending a decade as the head of its operation wing. He is also regarded as an instrumental figure in Revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. He is a retired member of the Indian Police Service.

Ajit Wadekar
Ajit Laxman Wadekar was an Indian international cricketer who played for the Indian national team between 1966 and 1974. Described as an "aggressive batsman", Wadekar made his first-class debut in 1958, before making his foray into international cricket in 1966. He batted at number three and was considered to be one of the finest slip fielders. Wadekar also captained the Indian cricket team which won series in the West Indies and England in 1971(first victory of Indian team in test cricket outside of India was recorded in 1968 under the captaincy of Tiger Pataudi against New Zealand). The Government of India honoured him with the Arjuna Award (1967) and Padmashri (1972), India's fourth highest civilian honour.

Ajit Singh Varman, sometimes also credited as Ajit Verman, was an Indian film music composer. He started his career in the 1960s as a musician for the likes of Satyajit Ray, Mrinal Sen, Pankaj Mullick and Salil Chowdhury in Calcutta as well as Shankar Jaikishan and Laxmikant Pyarelal in the 1970s in Mumbai till 1975 when he decided to make the transition to full-time music direction.
