Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is a Malaysian politician who has served as 8th President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and 6th Chairman the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition which is aligned with another ruling Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition, since June 2018. He briefly served as 11th Leader of the Opposition from July 2018 to March 2019. He also served as the 11th Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Defence and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in the BN administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak from March 2008 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018. He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bagan Datuk since April 1995. However, as the leader of BN, which is the largest component coalition of the PN administration, he does not hold any Cabinet position in the PN administration mainly due to his allegations of corruption and court cases. As the Deputy President of UMNO and Deputy Chairman of BN, he temporarily took over the reins of the acting party President and acting coalition Chairman in May 2018 after the resignations of his predecessor Najib on 12 May 2018, he was subsequently elected as the party President in the 2018 UMNO leadership election and appointed the coalition Chairman on 30 June 2018. Deputy President of UMNO and Deputy Chairman of BN Mohamad Hasan also temporarily took over the reins as the acting party President and acting coalition Chairman when he took leave for more than half of a year from 18 December 2018 to 30 June 2019. He is the second President of UMNO after Onn Jaafar and first Chairman of BN who is not the Prime Minister.
Ahmad ibn Mājid
Aḥmad ibn Mājid, also known as the Lion of the Sea, was an Arab navigator and cartographer born c. 1432 in Julfar, part of Oman under the Nabhani dynasty rule at the time,. He was raised in a family famous for seafaring; at the age of 17 he was able to navigate ships. The exact date is not known, but ibn Majid probably died in 1500. Although long identified in the West as the navigator who helped Vasco da Gama find his way from Africa to India, contemporary research has shown Ibn Majid is unlikely even to have met da Gama. Ibn Majid was the author of nearly forty works of poetry and prose.
Ahmad Shah of Pahang
Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzam Shah was the fifth modern Sultan of Pahang, and also served as the seventh Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1979 to 25 April 1984. His abdication as Sultan was decided by the Royal Council at an extraordinary meeting on 11 January 2019. A special amendment was passed on the state constitution that gave the body more power for this decision, citing the Sultan's incapability to rule due to his failing health. The abdication announced the next day which was retroactively effective on the day of the Royal Council meeting, paving the way to his son, Abdullah to succeed him as Sultan immediately, and subsequently be elected as the next Yang di-Pertuan Agong later the same month.

Ahmad Shah Ahmadzai was an Afghan politician. He served as acting prime minister of Afghanistan from 1995 to 1996. He was an ethnic Pashtun from the Ahmadzai sub-tribe.
Ahmad Faizal Azumu
Ahmad Faizal bin Azumu is a Malaysian politician who served as the 12th and 13th Menteri Besar of Perak from May 2018 to his resignation and collapse of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administration in March 2020 and again from March 2020 to his resignation again and the collapse of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration in December 2020. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tambun and Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Chenderiang since May 2018. He is a member, Deputy President and State Chairman of Perak as well as Pahang of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the ruling PN coalition at the federal level and former component party of the PH opposition coalition at both the federal and state levels. He was the State Chairman of PH of Perak. He was one of the only two Menteris Besar of Malaysia who has ruled in two state administrations of two different and opposing political coalitions, which were PH state administration from May 2018 to his resignation and its collapse in March 2020 and PN state administration from March 2020 to his resignation and its collapse in December 2020.
