Leonard Ian Abrahamson is an Irish film and television director. He is known for directing such praised independent films as Adam & Paul (2004), Garage (2007), What Richard Did (2012), and Frank (2014), all of which contributed to Abrahamson's six Irish Film and Television Awards.

Thomas Vinterberg is a Danish film director who, along with Lars von Trier, co-founded the Dogme 95 movement in filmmaking, which established rules for simplifying movie production. He is best known for the films The Celebration (1998), Submarino (2010), The Hunt (2012), Far from the Madding Crowd (2015), and Another Round (2020), for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Director.

Alexandre Jouan-Arcady, known professionally as Alexandre Aja, is a French film director best known for his work in the horror genre. Aja rose to international stardom for his 2003 horror film Haute Tension. He has also directed the films The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Mirrors (2008), Piranha 3D (2010), Horns (2013) and Crawl (2019).

Andrew Brion Hogan Goddard is an American film and television screenwriter, director, and producer. He began his career as a writer on television series, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Alias, and Lost. He also created the Netflix superhero series Daredevil.

Derek M. Cianfrance is an American film director, cinematographer, screenwriter, and editor. He is best known for writing and directing the films Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond the Pines, as well as the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True.

Brenda Chapman is an American writer, storyboard artist, and director. In 1998, she became the first woman to direct an animated feature from a major studio, DreamWorks Animation's The Prince of Egypt. She co-directed the Disney/Pixar film Brave, becoming the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

Tarsem Singh Dhandwar, known professionally as Tarsem, is an Indian director who has worked on films, music videos, and commercials. He directed The Cell (2000), The Fall, Immortals (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012), and Self/less (2015).

Jared Bush is an American screenwriter and producer, best known for co-directing and co-writing the Disney animated film Zootopia in 2016, writing the Disney animated film Moana in the same year and co-creating and executive producing the Disney XD animated series Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. He also co-founded the production company Dark Castle Entertainment.
