Joko Anwar is an Indonesian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. Prior to becoming a filmmaker, he worked as a journalist and film critic.

Robin Campillo is a Moroccan-born French screenwriter, editor and film director. He is known for his work on films such as The Class (2008), Heading South (2005), the French zombie film They Came Back (2004), Eastern Boys (2013), and Time Out (2001), the latter of which was placed at ninety-nine on Slant Magazine's best films of the 2000s, number nine of The Guardian's Best Films of the noughties, and number eleven at The A.V. Club's top fifty films of the 2000s. In 2017, he released 120 BPM which received mass acclaim and went on to garner many awards, including the Grand Prix and 2017 César Award for Best Film.

Abderrahmane Sissako is a Mauritanian-born Malian film director and producer. His film Waiting for Happiness (Heremakono) was screened at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival official selection under Un Certain Regard, winning the FIPRESCI Prize. His 2007 film Bamako received much attention. Sissako's themes include globalisation, exile and the displacement of people. His 2014 film Timbuktu was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Steven Vincent Buscemi is an American actor, director, writer, producer and former firefighter. He has starred in a number of successful movies, including Reservoir Dogs (1992), Desperado (1995), Con Air (1997), Armageddon (1998), The Grey Zone (2001), Ghost World (2001), Big Fish (2003), and The Death of Stalin (2017). Buscemi is also known for his supporting roles in the Coen brothers films Miller's Crossing (1990), Barton Fink (1991), The Hudsucker Proxy (1994), Fargo (1996), and The Big Lebowski (1998).

Scott Beck is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa. He co-writes and co-directs with filmmaking partner Bryan Woods. Together they co-wrote and executive produced A Quiet Place for Paramount Pictures, in addition to writing and directing Haunt for producer Eli Roth, and Nightlight, a supernatural thriller for Lionsgate and Herrick Entertainment.

He co-writes and co-directs with filmmaking partner Scott Beck. Bertrand Bonello is a French film director, screenwriter, producer and composer. His background is in classical music, and he lives between Paris and Montreal. His work has also been associated with the New French Extremity.
