Ilie Theodoriu Năstase is a Romanian former world No. 1 professional tennis player, and one of the world's top players of the 1970s. He was ranked world No. 1 from 23 August 1973 to 2 June 1974.

Michael Detlef Stich is a former professional tennis player from Germany. He won the men's singles title at Wimbledon in 1991, the men's doubles titles at both Wimbledon and the Olympic Games in 1992, and was a singles runner-up at the 1994 US Open and the 1996 French Open. Stich won 18 singles titles and ten doubles titles. His career-high singles ranking was world No. 2 in 1993.

Roy Stanley Emerson is an Australian former tennis player who won 12 Grand Slam singles titles and 16 Grand Slam doubles titles, for a total of 28 Grand Slam tournament titles. He is the only male player to have completed a career Grand Slam in both singles and doubles, and first of two men to have completed a double career Grand Slam in singles. His 28 major titles are the all-time record for a male player. In 1964, he was ranked world No. 1.

Henri Leconte is a French former professional tennis player. He reached the men's singles final at the French Open in 1988, won the French Open men's doubles title in 1984, and helped France win the Davis Cup in 1991. Leconte's career-high singles ranking was world No. 5.

Mansour Bahrami is a former professional tennis player. He is Iranian with dual French nationality since 1989. While only moderately successful on the ATP Tour, his showmanship has made him a long-standing and popular figure in invitational tournaments.

Denis Kudla is an American professional tennis player of Ukrainian descent.

Nicolás Alejandro Massú Fried, nicknamed El Vampiro, is a Chilean retired tennis player, a former world No. 9 in singles and winner of two Olympic gold medals. He is the only male player to have won both the singles and doubles gold medals during the same games in modern Olympic tennis, the only two gold medals Chile has won at the Olympics. Massú also reached the final of the 2003 Madrid Masters and won six singles titles. Now, he is the coach of the world top Austrian Tennis Player Dominic Thiem.

Maxime Hamou is a French tennis player. Hamou has a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 211, achieved in July 2015 and a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 744, achieved in July 2016.
