Stephen Gordon Hendry is a Scottish professional snooker player and a commentator for the BBC and ITV. As a seven-times World Champion, he is the most successful player in the modern era of the World Snooker Championship and holds the record for the most seasons as world number one. His first world title in 1990, at the age of 21, made him the youngest-ever World Champion, a record that he still holds.

Jack William Hendry is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for K.V. Oostende, on loan from Celtic, and for the Scotland national team. Hendry has previously played for Partick Thistle, Wigan Athletic and Dundee. He has also had loan spells at Shrewsbury Town, Milton Keynes Dons and A-League club Melbourne City.

Gloria Hendry, also known inaccurately as Gloria Henry, is an American actress and former model. Hendry is best known for her roles in films from the 1970s, most notably: portraying Rosie Carver in 1973's James Bond film Live and Let Die; and Helen Bradley in the blaxploitation film Black Caesar, and the sequel, Hell Up in Harlem.

Ian Mackendrick Hendry was an English actor. He worked on several British TV series of the 1960s and 1970s, including the lead in the first series of The Avengers and The Lotus Eaters, and played roles in the films The Hill (1965), Repulsion (1965), Get Carter (1971), and Theatre of Blood (1973).

Charles Hendry is a British Conservative Party politician. Formerly the member of parliament for High Peak between the 1992 and 1997 general elections, he was returned as the MP for Wealden in 2001. In May 2010 he was appointed Minister of State for the Department of Energy and Climate Change and served until 2012. He stood down at the 2015 general election.
