Robert Gray
Robert Gray was an American merchant sea captain who is known for his achievements in connection with two trading voyages to the northern Pacific coast of North America, between 1790 and 1793, which pioneered the American maritime fur trade in that region. In the course of those voyages, Gray explored portions of that coast and, in 1790, completed the first American circumnavigation of the world. He was noted for coming upon and naming the Columbia River in 1792, while on his second voyage.
Camilla Gray
Camilla M. Gray, also known as Camilla Gray-Prokofieva, was a British art historian whose book, The Great Experiment: Russian Art 1863–1922, broke new ground in promoting this branch of modernism. Gray organised several exhibitions in London on the relevant artists such as Kazimir Malevich, Mikhail Larionov, and Natalia Goncharova. She married Oleg Prokofiev, son of the composer Sergei Prokofiev.

Elisha Gray
Elisha Gray was an American electrical engineer who co-founded the Western Electric Manufacturing Company. Gray is best known for his development of a telephone prototype in 1876 in Highland Park, Illinois. Some recent authors have argued that Gray should be considered the true inventor of the telephone because Alexander Graham Bell allegedly stole the idea of the liquid transmitter from him. Although Gray had been using liquid transmitters in his telephone experiments for more than two years previously, Bell's telephone patent was upheld in numerous court decisions.
