Carlos 'El Professor' Hank González (Politician)
Carlos Hank González (1927–2001), nicknamed El Profesor, was a Mexican politician and influential businessman. Originally a teacher, he was an entrepreneur who built political contacts along with a business empire, leading to various government and political positions at the state and national level. He was prevented from seeking the presidency due to laws requiring both parents to be Mexicans by birth; his father was German. He has been involved in drug trafficking, money laundering, corruption, and criminal threats.
María de los Ángeles Alvariño González
María de los Ángeles Alvariño González, known as Ángeles Alvariño, was a Spanish fishery research biologist and oceanographer globally recognized as an authority in plankton biology. She was the first woman ever appointed as scientist aboard any British or Spanish exploration ships. She discovered 22 new species of marine animals and published over a hundred scientific books, chapters and articles. In her late career she studied the history of early marine scientific exploration.

In 2011, she moved to TV Azteca, the second best-known multimedia company in Mexico, where she starred in the telenovelas Cielo rojo (2011), Vivir a destiempo (2013) and Las Bravo (2014).
