John Emery is a Canadian bobsledder who competed in the mid-1960s. He won a gold medal in the four-man event at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

Gilbert Emery Bensley Pottle, known professionally as Gilbert Emery, was an American actor who appeared in over 80 movies from 1921 to his death in 1945. He was also a playwright, author of seven Broadway plays from 1921 to 1933.

Stephen Albert Emery was a 19th-century American music composer and theorist. Many of the younger American composers were indebted to Emery for their instruction in the art of composition, and he stood in the front rank of American theorists. Emery has a national reputation as a lecturer upon musical subjects, a contributor to musical papers, a composer, a teacher of harmony, counterpoint and piano. As a composer, he wrote about a 150 published pieces, all of which were musicianly, and many of which enjoyed a large share of popular favor.

John K. Emery, better known by his professional name of Jack Emery, is a British director, writer and producer for stage, TV and radio. He was born in 1944 and educated at Keele University. He began his career producing and acting at Keele, most notably in his first one-man show taken from the novels and plays of Samuel Beckett, called A Remnant, which played in the West End, the Edinburgh Festival and toured worldwide. In 1968 Emery recorded an album, featuring extracts from the show, for Saga Psyche label.

George W. Emery was the eleventh governor of Utah Territory. Emery was appointed by President Ulysses S. Grant for Supervisor of Internal Revenue for the confederate states from 1870 to 1874 and governor in 1875. After his term ended in 1880, the Utah Legislature named Emery County, Utah in honor of him.

Carlo Emery was an Italian entomologist. He is remembered for Emery's rule, which states that insect social parasites are often closely related to their hosts.
