Chien Tung-ming is a Taiwanese Paiwan politician. Also known by the Paiwan-language name Uliw Qaljupayare, he represented the Highland Aborigine district from 2008 to 2020, alongside Kao Chin Su-mei and Kung Wen-chi.

Allen Bert Christman, known professionally as Bert Christman, was an American cartoonist and naval aviator. He is best known as artist of the newspaper comic strip Scorchy Smith, about a pilot-adventurer in the inter-war years. He was also credited with co-creating the original, Wesley Dodds version of the DC Comics character the Sandman.

Francis Magee is an Irish-Manx actor, who portrayed Liam Tyler in the long-running British soap opera EastEnders from 1993 to 1995. He has also appeared in numerous television shows and feature films, including Sahara (2005), Layer Cake (2004) and The Calling (2000). He played the part of Ordgar, the Housecarl who led the Crowhurst contingent, in 1066 The Battle for Middle Earth (2009), a reconstruction of the year of the three battles from the English perspective.
