Ronald Vaughan Joyce, was a Canadian entrepreneur and billionaire. He co-founded the Tim Hortons doughnut chain as Tim Horton's partner and first franchisee in 1964. After the death of Tim Horton, Ron Joyce was instrumental in establishing the Tim Horton Children's Camps and the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. He has received many awards and honours for his success in business and his extensive philanthropy. He was named a member of the Order of Canada in 1992 in recognition of his dedication to underprivileged children and youth.

José Manuel Oneto Revuelta, better known as Pepe Oneto, was a Spanish journalist and writer; he has been described as one of the greatest journalists during the Spanish transition to democracy.

She won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1980 for her novel Zindaginama and in 1996, was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Fellowship, the highest award of the Akademi. In 2017, she received the Jnanpith Award for her contribution to Indian literature.

María Esther Gorostiza Rodríguez, better known as Analía Gadé, was an Argentine film actress. She appeared in more than 60 films between 1948 and 2001. She appeared in the film Emergency Ward, which was entered into the 1953 Cannes Film Festival. She was born in Córdoba, Argentina, and was the sister of Carlos Gorostiza. Three years after being diagnosed with cancer, she died on 18 May 2019, at the age of 87.

Zakir Rashid Bhat or Zakir Musa was a former Hizbul Mujahideen field operational commander (2017), and founder of the Indian wing of Al-Qaeda, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind in 2017. Musa split with the political objectives of the Hizbul Mujahideen for Kashmir in favour of Al-Qaeda's radical religious objectives of imposing Shariah in the region.
