Taïeb Louhichi was a Tunisian film director, screenwriter, and filmmaker. His best known works include his debut feature film, Shadow of the Earth (1982), Layla, My Reason (1989), and La Danse du vent (2004).
Ebrahim Nafae
Ebrahim Nafae was an Egyptian journalist. He was editor of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram from 1979 to 2005 and chair of the General Union of Arab Journalists from 1996 to 2012.

André Bo-Boliko Lokonga Monse Mihambo was a Congolese politician. He served as the First State Commissioner of Zaire from 6 March 1979 to 27 August 1980. From 1967 to 1980, he was secretary-general of the National Union of Zairian Workers.
Norman Sheil
Norman Leslie Sheil was a racing cyclist who won world pursuit championships for Britain in 1955 and 1958 and rode the Tour de France in 1960. He became national coach of the British Cycling Federation and later of the Canadian Cycling Association. He returned to racing in the 1998 and won the world points championship for over-65s, in Manchester England.
