Kurt Malangré
Kurt Malangré was a German politician and lawyer from Aachen. A member of the CDU, he served as Lord Mayor of Aachen from 1973 to 1989 and as a Member of the European Parliament from 1979 to 1999.
Gennady Gagulia
Gennadi Leonidipa Gagulia was an Abkhazian politician who was three-time Prime Minister of Abkhazia and the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He served as the first prime minister of Abkhazia after the post was established by the constitution in 1995, holding it until 1997. He returned to the post in 2002 and remained for several months into 2003, and held it for a final time in 2018 until he was killed in a car crash.
Facundo Espíndola
Facundo Espíndola was an Argentine footballer. On 22 July 2018, Espíndola was attacked after leaving a bar and died from his injuries. Fellow footballer Nahuel Oviedo was arrested in connection with his death.
T. Berry Brazelton
Thomas Berry Brazelton was an American pediatrician, author, and the developer of the Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scale (NBAS). Brazelton hosted the cable television program What Every Baby Knows, and wrote a syndicated newspaper column. He wrote more than two hundred scholarly papers and twenty-four books.
Osamu Shimomura
Osamu Shimomura was a Japanese organic chemist and marine biologist, and Professor Emeritus at Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts and Boston University School of Medicine. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2008 for the discovery and development of green fluorescent protein (GFP) with two American scientists: Martin Chalfie of Columbia University and Roger Tsien of the University of California-San Diego.
Carmel McSharry
Carmel E. McSharry was an Irish character actress, best known for her roles as Beryl Humphries in Beryl's Lot (1973–77), a daytime ITV serial, and as Mrs. Hollingbery in In Sickness and in Health. She also played bit parts in The Day the Earth Caught Fire (1961), 80,000 Suspects (1963) and The Leather Boys (1964).
