Hans Gösta Gustaf Ekman was a Swedish actor, comedian, and director.

Wong Cho-keung, better known by his pen name Wong Yee or Wong On, was a HongKonger writer of wuxia and science fiction novels. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and once worked as the Assistant Chairperson of Hong Kong Museum of Art. Apart from his literary endeavors, he was also a painter and a musician who played the piano and the guqin.

Eberhard Jäckel was a German historian. In the 1980s he was a principal protagonist in the Historians' Dispute (Historikerstreit) over how to incorporate Nazi Germany and the Holocaust into German historiography.

Victorino Martín Andrés was a Spanish Fighting Bull cattle rancher. He was born in Galapagar, 33 kilometers from the city of Madrid. The livestock of which he was owner was founded on 29 May 1919 and, together with Duke of Veragua and Miura is one of the most notable in the history of bull fighting in Spain.

Desmond Connell KGCHS was an Irish cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church. He was an Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland. Cardinal Connell was one of a number of senior clergy to have been heavily criticised for inaction and for making misleading statements in connection with clerical sex abuse in Dublin. He died on 21 February 2017, aged 90.

Nancy Colbert Friday was an American author who wrote on the topics of female sexuality and liberation. Her writings argue that women have often been reared under an ideal of womanhood, which was outdated and restrictive, and largely unrepresentative of many women's true inner lives, and that openness about women's hidden lives could help free women to truly feel able to enjoy being themselves. She asserts that this is not due to deliberate malice, but due to social expectation, and that for women's and men's benefit alike it is healthier that both be able to be equally open, participatory and free to be accepted for who and what they are.

Maria Cäsar was an Austrian political activist (KPÖ) who after the Anschluss in 1938 became a resistance activist. She was among the survivors: during and beyond the occupation years. After the second World War Maria Cäsar played her part in testifying about her experiences of Austria under National Socialism to younger generations.

Vida Amélia Guedes Alves was a Brazilian actress and pioneer of early Brazilian television whose career spanned more than seventy years. In 1951, Alves made history when she and actor Walter Forster performed the first on-screen kiss ever broadcast on Brazilian television on the early telenovela series, Sua Vida Me Pertence. In 1963, Alves made television history once again by sharing the first gay kiss shown on Brazilian television with actress Geórgia Gomide on the teleteatro show, TV de Vanguarda.

Hilda Rosario Hernández Alvarado was an agronomy engineer and Honduran politician. She held posts in the nationalist governments of Ricardo Maduro, Porfirio Lobo Sosa and of her brother, Juan Orlando Hernández, current Honduran president. From January 2017 until her death she was political advisor to her brother in his campaign for re-election in the general election, 2017. There are also allegations that she never died and the press never showed evidence of the crashed helicopter. Some other say that Chapo Guzman sent to kill her due to her brother Juan Orlando ties with drug trafficking.

Pascal Garray was a Belgian comics artist and cartoonist best known for his work on Peyo's The Smurfs and Benoît Brisefer.
