Haro Senft (27 September 1928, Budweis, Czechoslovakia was a German filmmaker who was one of the founders of the New German Cinema movement. His short documentary film Kahl about the Kahl Nuclear Power Plant received an Academy Award for Documentary Short Subject nomination in 1961. In 2013, he received the Berlinale Camera award at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Brahim Zniber (1920–2016) was a Moroccan businessman. Through Diana Holding, he was the founder and the owner of Celliers de Meknès, the largest wine producer in Morocco, and owned 85% of the country's wine production. From the 1970s onward, he expanded into fruit and poultry production, and Coca-Cola bottling plants.

Horst Mittelstaedt was a German biologist and cybernetician. Together with Erich von Holst he demonstrated the "Reafference Principle" in 1950 concerning how an organism is able to separate reafferent (self-generated) sensory stimuli from exafferent sensory stimuli.
