Mohamed Makiya was an Iraqi architect and one of the first Iraqis to gain formal qualifications in architecture. He is noted for establishing Iraq's first department of architecture at the University of Baghdad and for his architectural designs which incorporated Islamic motifs such as calligraphy in an effort to combine Arabic architectural elements within contemporary works.

Nabil Al Fadl was a Kuwaiti politician who was a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly and a columnist with the Al-Watan newspaper.

Nova Margery Pilbeam was an English film and stage actress. She played leading roles in two Alfred Hitchcock movies of the 1930s, and made her last film in 1948.

Arturo Longton Guerro was a Chilean lawyer and politician. He served as the first Governor of Marga Marga Province from 2010 to 2012.

Carmen Adelina Gutiérrez Alonso was a Chilean scientist, academic and professor of astrophysics. She was the first Chilean to obtain a doctoral degree in astrophysics and the first woman to become a member of the Chilean Academy of Sciences.

Eric Arturo Delvalle Cohen-Henríquez was a Panamanian politician. He served as Vice President under Nicolás Ardito Barletta. Following the disputed 1984 election, and after Barletta's forced resignation, Delvalle served as President of Panama from 28 September 1985 until 26 February 1988.

Otto Carius was a German tank commander in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves.
