Francisco Peralta y Ballabriga was a Spanish Roman Catholic bishop. At the time of his death, aged 95, he was one of the oldest bishops in the Church and one of the oldest bishops in Spain.

Noel Hamilton "Ham" Lambert was an Irish cricketer and rugby union player. By profession a veterinary surgeon, he was noted for being the first in Ireland to own a practice devoted to the care of companion animals.

David Ernest Peckinpah was a television writer, producer and director. David was the nephew of film director Sam Peckinpah and son of Denver "Denny" Peckinpah, a Fresno County Superior Court Judge. He was the writer and producer of several series including the cable TV shows DEA, Silk Stalkings, Sliders and Beauty and the Beast. He also had a number of series in development at the time of his death.

Leon Albert Henkin was one of the most important logicians and mathematicians of the 20th century. His works played a strong role in the development of logic, particularly in the Theory of Types. He was an active scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, where he made great contributions as a researcher, teacher, as well as in administrative positions. At this university he directed, together with Alfred Tarski, the Group in Logic and the Methodology of Science, from which many important logicians and philosophers emerged. He had a strong sense of social commitment and was a passionate defensor of his pacifist and progressive ideas. He took part in many social projects aimed at teaching mathematics, as well as projects aimed at supporting women's and minority groups to pursue careers in mathematics and related fields. A lover of dance and literature, he appreciated life in all its facets: art, culture, science and, above all, the warmth of human relations. He is remembered by his students for his great kindness, as well as for his academic and teaching excellence.

Giordano Cottur was an Italian cyclist. He was born in Trieste. His palmarès include three 3rd places overall at the Giro d'Italia and an 8th overall at the 1947 Tour de France.

Elizabeth Ann Sheridan Scarbrough, better known as Beatriz Sheridan was a Mexican actress and director. A pioneer of the Mexican telenovelas and prominent figure of the Mexican theater of the 20th century, she was also a teacher of dramatic technique for television and directed many great dramatic stars.
