Andrea Pangrazio was an Italian Roman Catholic bishop. He belonged to the Pangrazio family of Asiago. He became Archbishop of Gorizia.

Pol Bury was a Belgian sculptor who began his artistic career as a painter in the Jeune Peintre Belge and COBRA groups. Among his most famous works is the fountain-sculpture L'Octagon, located in San Francisco.

Biplab Dasgupta was a Marxian economist, former member of Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha and the Bengal state committee of the CPI(M). He was the author of several books on the agrarian economy of India.

Charles-Remy Rakotonirina was a Malagays clergyman and prelate for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Farafangana. He was appointed bishop in 1976. He died in 2005.

Jean-Pierre Genet was a professional road bicycle racer from Brest, France from 1964 to 1976. During this time he stayed with one cycling team, the Mercier team of Raymond Poulidor. He rode 13 editions of the Tour de France where he won three stages, once each in 1968, 1971 and 1974. He wore the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification for one day in the 1968 Tour de France. In 1967, Genet was the Lanterne rouge in the Tour de France.

Jean O'Leary was an American lesbian and gay rights activist. She was the founder of Lesbian Feminist Liberation, one of the first lesbian activist groups in the women's movement, and an early member and co-director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. She co-founded National Coming Out Day.
