John William Nevill Watkins was an English philosopher, a professor at the London School of Economics from 1966 until his retirement in 1989 and a prominent proponent of critical rationalism.

Don McGuire was an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer known for his roles such as playing Congo Bill from DC Comics in the 1948 Congo Bill serial.

Ilse Pausin-Ulrich was an Austrian pair skater. With her brother Erik Pausin, she won the silver medal at the 1936 Winter Olympics at age 17. They won five consecutive silver medals (1935-1939) at the World Figure Skating Championships and three consecutive silver medals (1937-1939) at the European Figure Skating Championships. In 1939, they competed representing Nazi Germany, which swept the Worlds pairs podium that year.

William Hindman was a veteran American actor primarily in the major professional theatres in South Florida. He also appeared in New York City theater. Hindman, however, was best known for his role as the older, good-humored Coach Goodenough in 1980s teen film trilogy Porky's.

Clayton Moore was an American actor best known for playing the fictional western character the Lone Ranger from 1949 to 1952 and 1953 to 1957 on the television series of the same name and two related movies from the same producers.

Edward Joseph Herlihy was an American newsreel narrator for Universal-International. He was also a long-time radio and television announcer for NBC, hosting The Horn and Hardart Children's Hour in the 1940s and 1950, and was briefly interim announcer on The Tonight Show in 1962. He was also the voice of Kraft Foods radio and TV commercials from the 1940s through the early 1980s. When he died in 1999, his obituary in The New York Times said he was "A Voice of Cheer and Cheese".
