Auguste Le Breton was a French novelist who wrote primarily about the criminal underworld. His novels were adapted into several notable films of the 1950s, such as Rififi, Razzia sur la chnouf, Le rouge est mis and Le clan des siciliens. He wrote the dialogue for the noir film Bob le flambeur.

Maurice Dugowson was a French film director and screenwriter. His 1975 film Lily, aime-moi was entered into the 25th Berlin International Film Festival. The following year, his film F comme Fairbanks was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1981 his film Bye, See You Monday was entered into the 12th Moscow International Film Festival.

Werner Jacobs (1909–1999) was a German film director and editor. He was born in Berlin on the 24 April 1909. He is best known for his contributions to Modebummel (1951), Der Stern von Santa Clara (1958) and André und Ursula (1955).
