Robert Leadam Eddison, OBE was an English actor, who despite his lengthy career as a classical stage actor, is probably most widely remembered in the role of the Grail Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He also played Merlin in the BBC television series The Legend of King Arthur, and the tragic ferryman in The Storyteller episode "The Luck Child".

Ragnar Arthur Granit was a Finnish-Swedish scientist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1967 along with Haldan Keffer Hartline and George Wald "for their discoveries concerning the primary physiological and chemical visual processes in the eye".

Sir John Richard Nicholas Stone was an eminent British economist, educated at Westminster School and Cambridge University. In 1984 he received the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for developing an accounting model that could be used to track economic activities on a national and, later, an international scale.

Göran Strindberg (1917–1991) was a Swedish cinematographer. Strindberg was one of the leading cinematographers in post-Second World War Sweden, replacing the earlier generation who had emerged during the silent era. He worked a number of times with the director Alf Sjöberg.
