Jules White was a Hungarian-born American film director and producer best known for his short-subject comedies starring The Three Stooges.

Seewoosagur Ramgoolam was a Mauritian politician, statesman and philanthropist. He served as the island's first Chief Minister, Prime Minister of Mauritius, and Governor-General.

Lawrence Alan Hauben was an American actor and screenwriter. Born in New York, he won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay along with Bo Goldman for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) at the 48th Academy Awards. He also won a Golden Globe and a Writers Guild of America Award.
