Edith Lagos was a Peruvian terrorist who was a member of the party Shining Path, one of the Terrorist Communist Parties of Peru. Lagos was a bloody prominent promoter of the group's agenda.

Irene Craigmile Bolam was a New York City banker and resident of Monroe Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. In 1970, a book that was soon widely discredited set forth an allegation that she was Amelia Earhart. Bolam denied the claim and took legal action against the publisher, resulting in the book being withdrawn.

He Siyuan, also spelled Ho Shih-yuan, was a Chinese educator, politician and guerrilla leader. Educated in China, the United States, and France, he was an economics professor at Sun Yat-sen University and education minister of Shandong Province. When Japan invaded China in 1937, he organized a guerrilla force to fight the resistance war in Shandong, and Chiang Kai-shek appointed him the wartime governor of the province.

Harald Ertl was an Austrian racing driver and motorsport journalist. He was born in Zell am See and attended the same school as Grand Prix drivers Jochen Rindt, Helmut Marko and Niki Lauda.

Estella Blain was a French actress. She appeared in more than twenty films from 1954 to 1981. She played the lead role in Hervé Bromberger's 1954 film Wild Fruit. Blain died by suicide on New Year's Day 1982.

Harold Sakata , born Toshiyuki Sakata was a Japanese-American Olympic weightlifter, professional wrestler, and film actor. He won a silver medal for the United States at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London in weightlifting. He was also an actor, best remembered for his role as the villain Oddjob in the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964).
