Sir Khwaja Nazimuddin was a Bengali conservative politician and one of the leading founding fathers of Pakistan. He is noted as being the first Bengali leader of Pakistan who ruled the country first as the Governor-General (1948–51), and later as the Prime Minister (1951–53).

Ezio Carabella was an Italian operetta, song and film music composer. He provided music for several films directed by Mario Camerini, among others. He was the father of the actress Flora Carabella.

Franz Joseph Maria Ludwig Anton Thassilo Prinz von Hohenzollern-Emden was a member of the Roman Catholic branch of the House of Hohenzollern. He was born as Prince Franz Joseph of Hohenzollern and adopted the surname Prinz von Hohenzollern-Emden in 1933.

Franco Ghione (1886–1964) was an Italian conductor and violinist. He graduated from the Parma Conservatory and became a violinist for the Parma Theatre and the Augusteo in Rome. He began a conducting career in 1913 and conducted in many opera houses, including La Scala. He conducted the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from 1936-1940, where it was said that, because he could not speak English, he "would explode in frustration" when his instructions were not understood.

Frank Luther Mott was an American historian and journalist, who won the 1939 Pulitzer Prize for History for Volumes II and III of his series, A History of American Magazines.

General Sir Douglas David Gracey & Bar was a British Indian Army officer who fought in both the First and Second World Wars. He also fought in French Indochina and was the second Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army. Gracey held this latter office from 11 February 1948 until his retirement on 16 January 1951. Born to English parents living in India, he was educated in English schools before returning to India to serve in the military there.
