Michał Rola-Żymierski
Michał Rola-Żymierski was a Polish high-ranking Communist Party leader, communist military commander and NKVD secret agent. He was appointed as Marshal of Poland by Joseph Stalin, and served in this position from 1945 until his death. He supported the 1981 imposition of Martial law in Poland.
Joakim Segedi
Joakim Segedi was a Ruthenian and Croatian Greek Catholic hierarch. He was auxiliary bishop as Titular Bishop of Gypsaria from 1963 to 1984 of the Eastern Catholic Eparchy of Križevci. In 17 March 2004, three days before his death, was elevated in rank of the titular archbishop with the same titular see of Gypsaria.
Mary Carr
Mary Carr, was an American film actress and was married to the actor William Carr (1866–1937). She appeared in 144 films between 1915 and 1956. She was given some of filmdoms plum mother roles in silent pictures, especially Fox's 1920 Over the Hill to the Poorhouse which was a great success. She was interred in Calvary Cemetery. Carr bore a strong resemblance to Lucy Beaumont, another famous character actress of the time who specialized in mother roles. As older actresses such as Mary Maurice and Anna Townsend passed on, Carr, still in her forties, seem to inherit all the matriarchal roles in silent films.
Teoh Seng Khoon
Teoh Seng Khoon was a Malaysian badminton player who won the All-England men's doubles title and represented his country in team and individual competition between 1940s to 1950s. Teoh played on the 1949 Malayan Thomas Cup team and won the world title. Paired with Ooi Teik Hock, he was undefeated in the Thomas Cup doubles matches. He also shared the men's doubles title at the All-England Championships in 1949 with Ooi. He died in Ipoh on 31 July 2018, aged 99.
