Arthur Charles Wahl was an American chemist who, as a doctoral student of Glenn T. Seaborg at the University of California, Berkeley, first isolated plutonium in February 1941. He also worked on the Manhattan Project.

Lynn Russell Chadwick, was an English sculptor and artist. Much of his work is semi-abstract sculpture in bronze or steel. His work is in the collections of MoMA in New York, the Tate in London and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.

Prior to it, he remained member of the Rajya Sabha twice from INC, first 1964-1970 and then 1970- 1971
