He began making television commercials before moving into post-production editing and directing films, most notably for Ealing Studios where his films include Whisky Galore! (1949), The Man in the White Suit (1951), and The Ladykillers (1955).

Will Insley was an American painter, architect, and planner of utopian urban models. As a painter of geometric abstraction, he is known for his large-area geometrical picture elements.

Kerstin "Kiki" Håkansson is a Swedish model and beauty queen who was the winner of the first Miss World beauty pageant after being crowned Miss Sweden World in 1951.
